Mondays are hard. Waking up early again this morning was tough. I was for sure tired. Luckily, I was on the same team with Sisco, David, Olivia, Tashi, Kerrie, and now Sam and Alan!

We headed back to the same roof we started on Friday. Tony, the homeowner was up when we got there and let us in. He told us he was going to make us lunch today and asked how many vegetarians there were. It was so sweet!

We got on the roof, began cleaning off all the debris with the brooms as well as the blower. We still had a little bit of cementing to do so we spent the first part of the morning doing that. We were finishing up canting the edges of most of the roof. This took a solid portion of the morning. Mixing cement, laying it down, watching the weather, pausing for light rain, then working again.

Once we were done with the cementing, we headed back down the ladder for lunch! Our homeowner made is sandwiches! With the most delicious vegetables, an egg, and rice and beans on the side. Everyone was so hungry we scarfed it down immediately.
